How to set custom weight groupings for colors in 2D and 3D View

This article describes how to customize the weight groupings for the Color by Weight group used in 2D and 3D Views. 

Color by Weight Group in 2D and 3D Views

In the 2D View, it is possible to change the visual representation of the container data by using the Color by attribute  dropdown in the center of the screen.  For more information about using the 2D Bay View functionality, click here

To see the container data visually represented by weight, use the dropdown and select Color by Weight Group.

In the 3D View, it is possible to change the visual representation of the container data by using the Color by attribute  dropdown on the right side of the screen while in View Mode. For more information about using the 3D Bay View functionality, click here

To see the container data visually represented by weight, use the dropdown and select Color by Weight Group.

The default weight groups, as show in the above images, are: 0-9.9 MT, 10-19.9 MT, 20-29.9 MT and 30-39.9 MT. 

If you wish to change the definitions for the weight groups, you can do so under the Manage Facility tab in your user account. 

Customizing Weight Groups

Use the Function Menu on the left side of the screen to click "Manage Facility" which is the first menu option under your facility's name. Then click Custom Weight Groups to update the weight groupings used to visualize container data in 2D and 3D Views.

Enter in your custom weight groups, distinguishing between different length containers if you wish.

Click Update Settings to save the custom weight groups. Any future files uploaded to your user account will have these settings applied to the Color by Weight Group in 2D and 3D Views.
