How to edit one or more containers in 2D View

It is possible to edit any details of container data uploaded to BAPLIE Viewer Online using the Edit Mode functionality in 2D Bay View.

After a file has been uploaded to baplieviewer.com, select the Visualization tab in the Function Menu on the left side of the screen and then select 2D Bay View. A new tab will appear with a graphical representation of the uploaded BAPLIE data.

There is a menu bar across the top of the 2D Bay View screen which gives you advanced options for viewing and editing the vessel data. Upon loading the 2D Bay View screen, Bay 001 is automatically shown and the mode will default to View.  To edit one or more container records, click on Edit Mode to get started.

Edit A Single Container

It is possible to edit any of the values of a record in the uploaded BAPLIE file. First, use the Select Bay dropdown or arrows to find the bay with the records you wish to edit. Alternatively, if you know the container IDs of the records you wish to edit, you can also enter the ID on the top right side of the screen and press enter to automatically locate the particular container.

Click on the container in the bay view you wish to edit, and then you'll notice that the Edit selected and Clear selected buttons are enabled just below the top menu bar. All other containers in the bay view will be greyed out if not selected. Click Edit selected and a pop up will appear with editable fields. Fields that can only have specific values are dropdown fields.

If a mandatory field is deleted or entered incorrectly, an error message will appear, and changes will not be saved until the errors are corrected.
