How to filter containers shown in 3D Vessel View
With BAPLIE Viewer Online, you can access the 3D Vessel View under the Visualization tab in the Function Menu to see a realistic model of the uploaded vessel data. While in 3D Vessel View, it is possible to quickly locate any containers that meet specific criteria, and either color code or remove all other containers from your view of the 3D model.
Filtering Containers
Quickly find a particular container or set of containers using filter criteria by changing the Mode to Filter using the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Filter containers by:
The first dropdown is the list of attributes. Choose which attribute you would like to filter the containers by. For example, the default is set to Filter by Port of Discharge but you may want to filter the view by Hazardous containers or Line Operator.

The list will update below once you select an attribute, with any of the available data points in your BAPLIE file. Choose which filter criteria you would like to apply. Once chosen, any colored container that does not meet the specified criteria will disappear from the 3D model.
For example - if you just select Hazardous in the first dropdown, the options to filter by which appear below are yes or no. If you select yes, the model will automatically remove all the non-hazardous containers from the view, leaving only the Hazardous containers on the vessel visible.
The colors of the containers remain filtered by the attribute set below the filter by attributes. Click here for more information about customizing the container colors.

Save and manage filters
Once filter criteria has been applied, the Save Filter button will become enabled on the menu to the right side of the screen. Click Save Filter and that filter criteria will be saved to your user profile for easy loading and viewing of future BAPLIE files in 3D View.
Saved filters are available for viewing in the dropdown just under the top menu bar when in Filter Mode.

Show wireframes
Once you have filtered the containers on the vessel, you may want to remove the empty wireframes from your view and just click around on the remaining containers. Checking the box next to Show wireframes will add or remove the white wireframes from the 3D model.

It is possible to edit the color of the wireframes being shown by changing the Mode to Settings using the menu bar at the top of the screen. Just under the top menu bar, new selections will appear in Settings Mode. Click the Wireframes Color box and a pop up will appear to change the color (shown above and below as set to the default, white)
