How to edit one or more records

It is possible to edit any details of container data uploaded to BAPLIE Viewer Online using the Edit Records functionality. After a file has been uploaded to baplieviewer.com, the Dashboard will load. Click the Main Content option under the Visualization tab in the Function Menu to see the BAPLIE file content in a table format.

Once the Main Content screen loads, use a query or filter to find the containers you wish to edit details for. Use the checkboxes on the left side of the screen to select a container, then click the Edit Records option in the Function Menu to view details of one or more selected records. A pop up Edit form will load the editable record details.

Click along the header of each section in the Edit form or on the arrows to expand or collapse a particular section of details.

Edit A Single Record

It is possible to edit any of the values of a record in the uploaded BAPLIE file.

Click on a row from the table to highlight it, then click the Edit Records option in the Function Menu.

Fields that can only have specific values are dropdown fields.

Once you are satisfied with the changes, click on the Edit Single Row button at the bottom of the form to save the changes. Or, click on the Close button at the bottom right corner to cancel any changes made.

If a mandatory field is deleted or entered incorrectly, an error message will appear, and changes will not be saved until the errors are corrected.

Edit Multiple Records

It is also possible to batch edit a group of records, saving changes to multiple records at a time.

Click on the rows you wish to highlight from the table, then click the Edit Records option in the Function Menu.

Select the checkbox to the left of the field that you wish to change. This will make the field editable. Make changes as required, then click the Edit Multiple Rows button at the bottom of the form. Only the fields with the checkbox selected will be applied to all highlighted records. All other fields will retain their prior values.
