How to Download a BAPLIE Without Container Numbers (Except Hazardous)

A new BAPLIE download option allows you to generate a version of the file that strips container identification numbers from all non-hazardous containers. Hazardous containers retain their identification numbers for safety and regulatory compliance.

When to Use This Option

This download format is useful when you need to share vessel stowage data externally but want to protect container identity information, while still ensuring hazardous cargo containers remain identifiable for safety purposes.

How to Download

1. Open a BAPLIE file in the Viewer
2. Navigate to the **Download** section at the bottom of the screen
3. From the download format dropdown, select **"Current Version without NAD segments for full containers and remove container number unless hazardous"**
4. Click **Download**

What This Format Modifies

The downloaded file includes two modifications compared to the original BAPLIE:

1. **NAD segments removed** — Name and Address segments are stripped from all full (loaded) containers. Empty containers retain their NAD segments
2. **Container numbers removed** — The equipment identification number is removed from all containers **unless** the container is flagged as carrying hazardous cargo

All other data in the BAPLIE file (positions, weights, port codes, vessel information) remains unchanged.
