Can I upload an excel file with containers to load to a BAPLIE?

Yes! If you have an excel spreadsheet that has containers for loading (sometimes referred to as a load list or loading plan), you can use this along with our Move Container operation feature.

Here's the steps you need to follow:

Import from Excel

First, we're going to convert your excel format spreadsheet into a BAPLIE Load List file.

1.  Login to your BAPLIE Viewer Online account

2. From the left hand function menu, choose  "Import Excel"

3. Follow the step by step instructions provided

*The spreadsheet needs to have Container Numbers, ISO Codes, Carrier, Status, POL, POD and weight at a minimum.

*If your spreadsheet does not have Position information, map it to a blank column and click "Proceed" to ignore the validation warnings (The system will warn you that Bay Position should be 7 characters)

 

Operations Feature

Once you have your Load List BAPLIE, then you can add containers to the current BAPLIE.

1. From the left hand function menu, upload the BAPLIE or select it from your files already uploaded.

2. Open the 2D Bay View and select the Move Mode.

3. Press Load New and Load from Previously Uploaded File

4. Select the Load List BAPLIE you created

*All the containers from the Load List BAPLIE will be displayed on a list on the right hand side. You can select the container or search for a specific container.
