Does BAPLIE Viewer Online support equipment types instead of ISO codes?

SMDG BAPLIE file specifications require ISO codes (ISO 6346) as the size type classification.  Equipment types are not supported by the SMDG spec.

Therefore BAPLIE Viewer Online flags Equipment Types as anomalies when they are present in the EQD segment, with the exception of Equipment types of 53 foot containers since they do not use ISO Codes.

In order to translate equipment types into ISO codes and provide a correct BAPLIE file to your trading partners, you can use the table below.

For example: a 40 foot High Cube Reefer would be 45R1.
