New Features

  • Now you can classify BAPLIE files as Inbound or Outbound files in the Vessel Calendar (home page after logging in). This is done by going to Manage Facility (or Facility Info if you are not the Facility Administrator and have Edit permissions) and then Facility Settings. Select whether to use Sender ID or Departure Port as the method for identifying Outbound Files.
    • If all files created at your facility use the same value for Sender ID, then select this method and input the value for your facility's Sender ID. When BAPLIE files are uploaded, we check the content of the BAPLIE header for the UNB segment, and compare the Sender ID field to see if it matches your Facility Sender ID. If a match is found, then the file is classified as an Outbound file.
    • If you prefer to use the Departure Port information instead, please input all aliases that are used in BAPLIE files for your facility. When BAPLIE files are uploaded, we check the content of the BAPLIE header for the LOC+5 segment, and compare the Place/Location ID, Related Place/Location 1 ID and Related Place/Location 2 ID fields to see if any of their values match any of the aliases defined. If a match is found, then the file is classified as an Outbound file.
